Ok... time for my to update on my trip to cambodia.. haha.. there is quite a few pitures to resize and upload.. so it will be seperated into quite a few parts consisting of different posts..

i shall start of with some selected random pictures from the whole trip..

Picture 1

More birds, more luck! haha.. sounds familiar? apparently.. they do have it in cambodia as well.. haha.. but they are not white in colour.. and thankfully.. richard gere was not there.. haha! oh.. and 1 USD for one bird..

Picture 2

The scenery near the airport when i reach there.. i was pretty amazed to see the contrast between the clouds and the sky.. it was really blue and white.. haha.. unlike in singapore.. its was.. grey? and white? haha..

the clouds there looks much like cotton candy actually.. haha.. yum!

Picture 3

one of the many fruit stalls around there.. i would be baked by the heat of the sun even if there was so many umbreallas.. lol

Picture 4

the foreground is the tuk-tuk.. similar to the ones in thailand.. their driving skills are second to none.. haha..

and there was this time.. we were walking back to our hotel from our shopping.. when we walked past one of the tuk-tuks park by the side of the road.. then the driver turned his head towards us and said:

uncle: hello, tuk-tuk ar?
me (i told me sister): Bo di ar! ("not around" in hokkien)

both of us burst out laughing when the driver meant to ask us whether we wanted a ride but it actually sounded like he was asking for a person named tuk-tuk over a phone call! hahaha!

anyway.. the background is one of the many push-carts around where they sell their local food...

Picture 5

Their traffic light.. their system is timer based where after a certain amount of seconds.. it will be the turn for the other direction to move.. and according to the guide..

their traffic police knocks off at around dinner time.. its absolute mayhem at any junctions after that time where everyone wants to head back home fast.. it sure takes some skill to drive there.. haha

the only european cars i saw there can be counted by 1 hand.. haha.. 1 BMW 3-series.. 2 VW beetle and 2 mercs E200..

the locals usually drive second hand cars which almost all use the old toyota camrys and corollas..

Picture 6

One of the many beggers around.. its either you not give or you give to all.. haha.. once you that out your wallet.. the surrounding others will all rush and crowd around you.. but their quite poor thing actually..

Picture 7

A kinda of snake liqour.. the cobra is soaked in the wine and its only meant for guys.. it well.. helps to make you feel stronger.. haha.. well.. it depends on what occasion you want to used it for.. ha!

Picture 8

Again.. the many sellers.. but this time.. the man sells feathers, canes, balloons, etc... haha..

Picture 9

Snap this during my bus ride to somewhere.. haha.. they have no limit to the number of people they can get in a lorry.. and obviously.. the more the merrier! haha..

the type of cars that can drive on their roads are both-handed, number plates are not mandatory, no licence is needed for riding a motorbike, helmets are not a must, no limit to the number of people or type of goods a vehicle/bike can carry..

I have seen this guy carrying a dead pig behind his bike!

Picture 10

I was trying to get some sleep during the journey when the bus slam on the brakes.. and guess what.. it was just cows trying to cross the road.. and it was not the first time..

well.. there are a few more parts coming up.. stay tune~!
