This Day In Clement's History: fucked up people

after today.. i can conclude to a certain extent that cycling is as dangerous as driving even though you're cycling on the road and in a park..

i had a urge to cycle today since there was no soccer in the afternoon.. so.. i brought my 2 wheels self-powered vehicle (its a bicycle in other words) for a ride down to East Coast Park..

1) this incident is something that all of us will not meet that often.. there was this housefly / bee or some flying insect that looks like it which probably hasn't got use to flying..

it flew straight into my direction of travel and gave me a KISS as a result.. quite a exprience huh? got kissed by a fly.. haha.. anyway.. this was a start for the next 3 incidents to follow for the day..

2) as i was cycling at ECP (not the expressway).. this lady was crossing over to the cycling path to her friend.. as i was approaching.. she stood at the center line as though waiting for me to cross over..

as i was about to past her.. she started to cross! damn.. a near-collision.. i jammed by brakes in time luckily.. and her reaction? go over to her friend with a smile and didn't even apologise to me!

3) Again at ECP.. but this time it was near the cable water ski area.. this probably lower sec boy was travelling against my direction.. i was both checking out my front and the activity at the ski area.. so too was the boy execpt for the part to check his front..

so his bicycle veered of course and straight into mine.. and for some strange reason.. the time slowed down for that few seconds.. i could see his shocked expression followed that by the crash..

it was an instant reaction to jump out of my bicycle for that split second.. if not.. probably some scratches or bruising might result.. he didn't even apologised!

4) this time was at the pavement near the marine parade neighbourhood police post.. this passenger with an infant in arm was alighting from a toyota wish.. i was going past from the back at a relatively fast speed..

that passenger opened his door without checking and i was that centimeters close to being casted for the next potential superman.. if i had really crashed into that open door.. i wouldn't to be able to think of the consequences..

i stared back at that car.. that fucked up passenger was still happily taking his stuff out without knowing what he could have caused and the driver of the toyota wish didn't even apologised for his friend / relative or whoever..

what those people i encountered in this 3 incidents man.. don't apologised for what they have done wrong..

beware more of your surroundings no matter what you do and this place would be much much better..

bye!
