2 weeks from now.. this day.. i would be at tekong.. time files.. haha.. ever since poly ended.. which was like in feburary.. i was like wondering when i will be enlisting.. 8 months since then.. a long long holidays..

these 8 months.. i don't know it can be considered productive or not.. it was like holidays for about a month.. then work.. then holiday for a few more weeks then work.. and.. ya... thats how i managed to spend all these time.. but i can say.. it was relaxing to enjoy a balance of working days and holidaying time..

If you have been reading papers these few weeks.. you would have know that the National Library Board (NLB) is sending out letters to patrons in order to claim back to overdue fines over a period of time.. >> Report

the fines ranges from a few cents to a few dollars.. there are people who actually spend the effort to ask if their fine was justifiable as they have been ask to pay 30 cents!

'Is THIS worth the EFFORT?'

Library fine from 5 years ago: Is data correct?

Seriously.. although all these amount since small to each individual.. every cent counts.. if you click on the first link.. 800,000 letters were sent.. or planned to send as how its wrote.. if each letter was to claim back a amount of 10 cents.. Eighty Thousand dollars can be claimed back assuming everyone pays back..

imagine how many books or upgrade of facilities can they do with 80 000 dollars? so i think they should just pay up and stop whining.. a few years back.. one of my friends/colleague did told me that we are very lucky to have free entry and loaning services to and in libraries.. compared to other countries where the population has to pay to enter the library..

imagine how fortunate we are..
