YES YES YES!!!

hahaha.. caught Yes Man on new year's eve and after watching the show.. it is for sure that i won say Yes! to everything.. though it would be nice to get a kiss from a stranger.. heh! (I'm kidding!)

Headed over to the marina barrage for the new year countdown..

first time there anyway and the free shuttle service from marina bay mrt is a real long walk... ha.. anyway.. we drop off at the roundabout where all the steamboat place was previously and it certainly look like a ghost town in the night..

some memories of the events that took place over steamboat came into my mind as we walked past.. it would be another 5 to 10 mins walk into the barrage itself.. anyway.. if you're wondering.. during normal operational times.. there isn't a need to walk that far..

the shuttle bus would actually alight you nearer best if you're travelling by vehicle.. the carpark is just next to the entrance..

by the time we reach.. it was already packed full of people over at the grass patch which is located at the top.. camera's were on tripod ready to snap.. picnic mats were all over as groups gathered to enjoy each other's company.. there was also a staged to entertain everyone till 2am..

as the fireworks lit up the sky over the marina area.. my leave also ended at that moment of time.. haha.. the cranes over at the IR site blocked the view slightly... but it didnt affect too much..

however, this year's fireworks were only satisfactory.. as soon as the fireworks ended.. everyone rushed towards he exit to catch the train back home.. WHAt'S THE HURRY?? haha.. the public transport service only ends at 2am!
