It was about 3 weeks before the actual day that i started planning this event for Sherlyn.. Didnt know what to do in the first place.. Ideas started flowing in and i didnt know it became such an event to celebrate her 22nd birthday.. haha..

anyway.. this post is kinda of late due to reasons.. haha.. yeah..

I got chunmei to do up 2 birthday cards for me for her birthday.. one contains the wishes from her friends and the other from me obviously.. haha.. i suck at doing these designing stuffs.. so i rather get someone who knows it to do it.. heh..

I very much satisfied with the end product.. the designs will be shown throughout the entry itself.. heh..

somehow or rather.. with the help of her friends.. i organized a surprised party for her right in her room.. haha.. the plan was get her to believe everything was as per normal..

strangely enough.. things aren't.. her family members began acting out of the norm when she came back on friday itself.. haha.. while we were all hiding in her room and it began to feel like a sauna soon after.. SHE WAS HAPPILY WALKING AROUND IN THE HOUSE!! haha.

anyway.. she came in eventually and the surprise was made.. after that was the usual stuff that you would do on birthdays..

This were the muffins i made the previous night with some help from my mum.. haha.. its her kitchen and recipe after all..

The partners in crime.. haha..

This was one card that chunmei made.. this one is for her friends..

Apparently.. Sherlyn actually suspected some thing was up between us.. she just didnt know the time, place and event.. haha.. even i provided the loophole.. lol..

Above concluded part 1 of the celebrations..

Part 2 was the next day itself.. and it begun with flowers for the birthday girl..

>

we went to catch a movie first before heading over to this turkish restaurant

over at 16 Bussorah Street.. its one of the lane in arab st area... it serves affordable and delicious Turkish and Mediterranean cuisines.. Google the restaurant and you can find out more.. heh..

I forgot the names of the dishes already.. but i roughly describe to you what is it..

The equivalent of Popiah.. i forgot the what is it wrapped with already.. haha..

Chicken Kebab

Grilled Fish

Black Tea (Lipton Tea in fact.. KANA BLUFF!!)

well.. the ambiance is pretty alright..

haha.. so the verdict??!!

Yum Yum!!

Now comes the last part.. the actual day itself.. it was a healthy lifestyle theme for the day.. not exactly towards the end.. hahaha.. you will realise why..

We headed out for a game of badminton in the morning and followed by a walk along the Southern Ridges.. half of it actually.. yup.. so her day began with her buying this pair of shoes for a nominal fee of just 1 dollar... haha..

we began out walk from HortPark towards Vivocity.. its about half the distance of the whole trail.. yup.. it was about a 2km to 3km walk..

The Alexandra Arch.. apparently.. the whole bridge has some lighting effects in the night.. yeah..

The Forest Trail.. its about 3 to 4 storeys high at some points i would say.. i would say is a good spot for peeping toms to get a good view as the walkway is made of metal grills with gaps in the middle.. haha.. however.. he would have to be invisible to do these acts as their victims can spot them real easily too! haha..

After the Forest Walk.. It leads to Mount Faber Park.. my first time there actually..

Be prepared to sweat it OUT!!

Henderson Waves was our last stop for the whole journey..

>

Now comes the unhealthy part of the whole journey.. haha..

The 2nd card.. and its for Sherlyn from me..
